P&T NGO 2018-2020 STRATEGY PROCESSING

A working meeting was held in Goris on September 29-30, 2017 with the participation of P&T NGO staff, NGO and board members. The workshop aimed at processing P&T NGO 2018-2020 strategic plan with participatory principle.

On the first day of the meeting, P&T NGO Executive Director Artashes Torozyan made opening remarks, presenting the adaptation chain and external and internal factors influencing changes.  During the meeting, P&T NGO Organization Development Manager Anna Avetisyan presented institutional capacity assessment report of the organization and the Project Development manager Anna Danielyan gave a presentation on strategy performance.

In the result of the active discussions, the purpose of the strategic plan and its planning structure were defined. Then SWOT analysis was conducted to identify organizational strong and weak sides, as well as to clarify possibilities and threats, based on case study and long-term experience analysis.

            On the second day of the meeting, an internal and external environment analysis was conducted through joint and active discussions, and SWOT analysis results were summarized: strategic plan and action plan were elaborated, as well as the vision and mission of P&T NGO were defined.
