“Basics of NGO Long-Term and Short-Term Planning.” The Two Day Training

During April 26-27, “Partnership and Teaching”/P&T NGO, in the scope of “Intermediary Service Organizations for Civil Society Development” project, funded by USAID, implemented two-day training on “ Basics of NGO Long –Term and Short-Term Planning” for CSOs and informal groups of Vayots Dzor.

The training was aimed at improving NGO long-term and short-term planning towards target organization capacities.

The training took place in Yeghegnadzor, “Yeghegnadzor Women Resource Center” Foundation. 17 participants from CSOs and informal groups of Vayots Dzor region: Yeghegnadzor, Vayq and Jermuk  communities have participated in the training.

The training was conducted by Artur Vardazaryan, an experienced trainer.

During the two-day training the participants were informed about the main steps of long-term and short term planning process,  how to define the vision of their organizations , how to do internal and external  environment  analysis.

After the training, the participants got assignments: to define and review their mission and vision in their organizations during two weeks, to process  strategic directions and goals.

In two weeks an appropriate consultation on the processing of strategic plan of the organization will be delivered to the participants by P&T NGO.
