  HSBC BANK ARMENIA OFFICERS SHARE THEIR EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE WITH YOUTH FROM THREE CENTRAL MARZES OF ARMENIA

On November 22, 2019, within the frameworks of ”Development Prospects” financial capability and entrepreneurial skills development project implemented by the ”Partnership and Teaching”/P&T NGO by the  financial support of the ”HSBC Bank Armenia” CJSC the next training course on the topic of “Types of Entrepreneurial Companies and Types of Legal Registration” took place by the participation of the 48 beneficiary youth from Kotayq, Ararat and Aragatsotn marzes of RA.

            Highlighting the need and importance of the cross-sectoral cooperation in the education and skills development of the younger generation, as well as the efficiency of continuous guidance by skilled professionals, ”HSBC Bank Armenia” CJSC’s staff members became actively involved in the held training, working in parallel with 3 groups of youth, The 7 HSBC Bank’s employees, familiarizing themselves with the business ideas selected by young people, their researches on the competitors and market analysis, presented their recommendations for enhancing the effectiveness of business plans, preventing risks and integrating oversight mechanisms.

               

Artashes Torozyan, the executive director of Partnership and Teaching NGO, emphasizing the importance of the HSBC Bank Armenia staff’s support, says: “We and our partners from public sector have always prioritized the idea of ​​volunteerism and developing volunteerism in the process of Armenian civil society formation. We have always initiated and coordinated many volunteer programs and campaigns, but with the involvement of business organizations in this actions, we rarely found support. HSBC is unique in this area, as volunteering at such a large scale and level of participation is the best example of a socially responsible operation that a private sector company can have. This format can and should become a benchmark for any company operating in the Republic of Armenia.”

         

The beneficiary youth, for their part, also emphasized the exclusivity and usefulness of the applied format, noting that compared to other programs, they have never had such an opportunity to discuss the theoretical knowledge gained during training courses and developed programs with the high qualified and skilled experts in such a high-efficient way. As many participants noted, during the training they were able to ask the experts all the questions they were interested in, received complete answers and learned a number of useful tips.

At the end of the training, the beneficiary youth endorsed a number of suggestions, including the application of this format at other stages of the project, the provision of consultations on the tax legislation field and organization of workshops on business management topic.

        

The ”Development Prospects” program is a combination of theoretical courses, seminars, and hands-on practical activities and exercises aimed at developing financial capability and entrepreneurial skills of the beneficiary youth.
